Terms & Conditions
1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all orders placed via our online shop Masoumi Customs by both consumers and businesses.
A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business, or profession. A business is a natural or legal person or a partnership with legal capacity who, when concluding a contract, acts in exercise of their trade or self-employed professional activity.
2. Contracting Party
The purchase contract is concluded with:
Masoumi Customs
Ali Masoumi
Admiralitätstraße 58, 20459 Hamburg
Germany
Email: alimasoumi[at]masoumi-customs.com
3. Conclusion of Contract
The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer but an invitation to place an order.
By submitting the order, you make a binding offer to enter into a purchase contract. Confirmation of receipt of the order will be sent by email immediately after submitting. The contract is concluded when we confirm the shipment of the goods or when the goods are delivered to you.
4. Prices and Shipping Costs
All prices are based on EUR. Local currency may be displayed automatically depending on your location.
Shipping fees are calculated during checkout and vary depending on the destination country and the selected shipping method.
5. Manufacturing, Shipping and Delivery
5.1 Made-to-Order Production
Unless expressly stated otherwise on the respective product page, physical Masoumi Customs products are made to order.
Products are manufactured or assembled specifically after an order has been placed and are generally not taken from a stock of pre-manufactured finished products.
The stated delivery or processing time therefore includes the time required for manufacturing, assembly, quality control and preparation for shipment.
5.2 Quality Control Before Shipment
Made-to-order products are subject to quality control before shipment.
Electronic products and assemblies are function-tested before shipment where technically applicable. The condition and/or functionality of products may also be documented as part of the quality-control process.
This documentation may include photographs, videos, test records or other production and quality-control records associated with the respective order.
5.3 Delivery Times
Unless otherwise stated on the respective product page, the following approximate delivery times apply:
- Germany: 4–8 business days
- International orders: up to 14 business days, depending on destination and customs clearance.
Delivery times may vary depending on production requirements, order volume, destination, customs processing and circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If a significant delay occurs, we will inform the customer where reasonably possible.
5.4 Shipping Providers
Depending on the destination, product and shipment size, orders may be shipped using DHL, Hermes or another suitable shipping provider.
Tracking information will be provided where available.
5.5 Remote and Extended Area Surcharges
For delivery addresses located in remote, extended or otherwise surchargeable areas, shipping carriers may charge additional delivery fees that are not included in the shipping price automatically calculated during checkout.
If an additional carrier surcharge applies to the customer's delivery address, Masoumi Customs will contact the customer before the order is shipped.
The customer may then choose between:
- paying the additional shipping cost required for delivery to the specified address; or
- cancelling the affected order and receiving a full refund of all amounts paid for that order.
The order will not be shipped using the higher-cost shipping service until the customer has agreed to and paid the additional shipping amount.
If the customer does not wish to pay the additional shipping cost, the order may be cancelled without additional cancellation fees.
6. Payment Methods
The following payment methods are available:
- PayPal
- Credit card
- Klarna
- Apple Pay / Google Pay
- Others depending on availability during checkout
7. Retention of Title
Goods remain our property until full payment is received.
8. Right of Withdrawal
Consumers have the statutory right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, takes possession of the goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform:
Masoumi Customs
Ali Masoumi
Admiralitätstraße 58
20459 Hamburg
Germany
Email: contact[at]masoumi-customs.com
by means of a clear statement of your decision to withdraw from the contract.
You may use the sample withdrawal form below, but this is not mandatory.
Consequences of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including the cost of standard delivery, without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the date on which we receive notification of your withdrawal.
We will use the same means of payment used for the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided evidence that you have returned the goods, whichever occurs first.
You must return the goods without undue delay and no later than fourteen days after notifying us of your withdrawal.
You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

9. Statutory Rights in the Event of Defects
Masoumi Customs does not provide any commercial or voluntary warranty unless expressly stated otherwise for a specific product.
The statutory rights in the event of defects apply.
For new goods purchased by consumers, the statutory limitation period for claims arising from defects is generally two years from delivery of the goods.
The statutory provisions concerning defects, subsequent performance, withdrawal, reduction of the purchase price and damages remain unaffected.
Where the statutory requirements are met, the customer is entitled to subsequent performance in accordance with applicable law. The customer's statutory right to choose the type of subsequent performance and the seller's statutory rights to refuse a particular type of subsequent performance remain unaffected.
For consumer purchases, the statutory rules regarding the burden of proof apply.
Damage Caused After Delivery
Statutory rights relating to defects apply to defects for which Masoumi Customs is legally responsible. They do not make Masoumi Customs responsible for damage subsequently caused by the customer, another person, improper installation or use contrary to the product specifications.
In particular, damage is not considered a defect attributable to Masoumi Customs where it was caused by:
- operation outside the specified voltage or electrical specifications;
- supplying a component specified for 5V operation with more than 5V;
- direct or indirect connection of a 5V LED system to a vehicle's 12V electrical system without a suitable 12V-to-5V converter;
- modified USB cables, adapters, extensions or other connections that result in excessive voltage being supplied to the product;
- reversed polarity;
- short circuits;
- incorrect wiring;
- cutting, stripping, opening, splicing, soldering, rewiring, bypassing or otherwise modifying supplied cables or connectors;
- connecting incompatible third-party LEDs, controllers, power supplies or other electrical components;
- unsuitable or defective adapters, converters or power supplies;
- pulling, pinching, crushing, excessively bending or otherwise mechanically damaging cables, connectors or components;
- improper installation, removal or handling;
- failure to follow product instructions, electrical specifications or safety warnings.
Modified or Damaged Products
A customer is not entitled to a free replacement, repair or refund for damage caused by the customer's own modification, incorrect installation, incorrect voltage supply or other improper use.
Modification of a product does not by itself remove statutory rights relating to an unrelated defect for which Masoumi Customs is legally responsible.
If a product has been modified, opened, rewired or otherwise altered after delivery, Masoumi Customs may require reasonable evidence necessary to determine the cause of the reported malfunction before assessing a claim.
This may include photographs or videos showing:
- the complete product;
- all cables and connectors;
- the complete electrical installation;
- the power source and any adapters or converters used;
- any modifications made to the product; and
- the circumstances in which the malfunction occurred.
The customer must provide the product for examination and subsequent performance where required by applicable law.
Quality Control
Masoumi Customs products are made to order unless otherwise stated.
Products are subject to quality control before shipment. Electronic products and assemblies are function-tested before shipment where technically applicable, and the condition and/or functionality of the product may be documented and associated with the respective order.
Nothing in this section restricts mandatory statutory consumer rights.
10. Liability
We are fully liable for intent, gross negligence, and injury to life, limb, or health.
In cases of ordinary negligence, we are only liable for breaches of essential contractual obligations (cardinal duties).
11. Dispute Resolution
The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution:
https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
12. Installation, Electrical Safety and Product Modifications
12.1 Installation and Proper Use
Products must be installed, connected and operated in accordance with the product description, technical specifications, installation instructions and safety warnings provided by Masoumi Customs.
The customer is responsible for reading the respective product description and all supplied instructions before installation or electrical connection.
The customer is responsible for correct installation and for ensuring that the product is used only for its intended purpose.
Where appropriate, installation should be carried out by a suitably qualified person.
12.2 IMPORTANT – Correct Operating Voltage
Electrical products must only be operated within the voltage range and electrical specifications stated in the respective product description, installation instructions and/or markings on the product.
The customer must verify the required operating voltage of the specific product before connecting it to any power source.
The voltage of the power source must match the voltage specified for the respective product.
A product must never be connected directly or indirectly to a power source with a voltage exceeding the specified maximum operating voltage.
This also applies to connections made through vehicle electrical systems, USB connections, modified USB cables, adapters, extensions, converters, aftermarket head units or other third-party power sources.
If a voltage converter or adapter is required, a suitable, high-quality component must be used that reliably provides the voltage specified for the respective product.
Applying an incorrect or excessive voltage can immediately and permanently damage LEDs, controllers and other electronic components.
The customer must verify the output voltage and suitability of any third-party power source, adapter or converter before connecting the product.
The presence of a particular connector, including a USB connector, does not by itself guarantee that a power source provides the correct voltage.
12.3 DO NOT MODIFY THE WIRING
Unless expressly required or permitted by the product description or installation instructions:
DO NOT cut the supplied cables.
DO NOT strip or expose individual wires.
DO NOT remove supplied connectors.
DO NOT splice, solder, rewire or bypass the supplied wiring.
DO NOT connect the product to a voltage other than the voltage specified for that product.
DO NOT use modified cables, USB cables, adapters, converters or other connections to supply an incorrect or excessive voltage to the product.
DO NOT connect incompatible third-party LEDs, controllers or other electronic components.
Cutting or modifying wiring can cause incorrect polarity, short circuits, unstable electrical connections, excessive voltage or permanent damage to the product.
Any modification is performed at the customer's own risk unless Masoumi Customs expressly instructs or permits the customer to perform that modification.
12.4 Troubleshooting Before Modification
If an electrical product does not operate as expected, the customer should stop installation and contact Masoumi Customs before cutting, opening, stripping, soldering, rewiring, bypassing or otherwise modifying the product, cables, connectors or electronic components.
The customer should not attempt to diagnose an electrical problem by applying a different or higher voltage, bypassing supplied connectors or altering the wiring.
Masoumi Customs may request photographs, videos, voltage measurements or other information concerning the complete installation before further troubleshooting.
12.5 Damage Caused by Incorrect Installation, Voltage or Modification
Damage caused by incorrect or excessive voltage, reversed polarity, short circuits, incorrect wiring, unsuitable power supplies, adapters or converters, incompatible third-party components, mechanical damage, failure to follow the product specifications or modifications made by the customer or a third party is not considered a product defect attributable to Masoumi Customs where the respective action or circumstance caused the damage.
Where such customer-caused damage is established, Masoumi Customs is not responsible for providing a free replacement, free repair or refund for that damage.
Statutory rights concerning defects unrelated to the customer's modification, installation or use remain unaffected.
12.6 Road Use and Vehicle Approval
Unless expressly stated otherwise in the respective product description, products are supplied without road-traffic approval, type approval, ABE, E-mark or other vehicle-specific certification.
The customer is responsible for determining whether installation and use are permitted under the laws and technical regulations applicable to the respective vehicle and country.
Masoumi Customs does not guarantee acceptance by TÜV, another technical inspection authority, an insurance provider or a registration authority unless such approval is expressly stated for the specific product.
Mandatory statutory rights and liability remain unaffected.
13. Contract Language and Governing Law
The contract language is German. German law shall apply, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
14. Severability Clause
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by the applicable statutory regulation.
